-------------------------------------------------Dec. 14, 2009: The RMBL 2010 Research Applications (New/Renewal, Continuing, Research Assistant, Visiting Scientist, and Guest/Alumni) have been updated.
Nov. 24, 2009: The 2010 RMBL Rates and Fees have been finalized. This includes station fees, and fees/rates for applications, lab space, housing, meals, parking, phones, and a new Storage Fee for those storing research, lab or personal items at RMBL over the winter.
Nov. 10, 2009: The 2010 RMBL summer Higher Education Program application is now online. This includes the Advanced Independent Research/REU program and the Independent Research and Course program. The application deadline is Feb. 15, 2010.
Oct. 29, 2009: The RMBL Research Fellowship for Scientists has been created. The Snyder Fellowship for Graduate Students has been updated.
Oct. 19, 2009: Our RMBL_Fall_Newsletter is now online. Please visit our RMBL Winter Caretakers' blogsites: Jessica_and_Thayer and John_Kennell - they have some great stories and photos out there!
Sept. 15, 2009:
The RMBL Admin Office has moved to Crested Butte, to our "winter" office, second floor, 308 Third St.
Sept. 1, 2009:
1. GATES: Cows are now in Gothic - Please keep gates closed, whether you find them open or not, and whether or not cows are present. It's that time of year!
2. PARKING: It is now permissible to park your vehicles near your cabin, if you wish.
3. WATER: The summer water system is now being shut down. If you have questions about where to obtain water, please ask at the Admin office.
4. BEARS: Please continue to take precautions against bears - latch the dumpsters, remove trash & recycling from your cabins, and keep doors and windows closed. Even though one bear was removed from Gothic, it is possible other bears are still around.
August 19, 2009: Beginning on Monday, Aug. 31st, the summer water system will begin to be shut down. This process takes several days and may begin earlier if there is a cold front. Cabins on the winter water system, and therefore not affected by this process, include: Avery, Maroon, Roger's Boggs, Gates, and the Johnson Lab. Please see RMBL Admin with any questions about where to obtain water for the duration of your stay.
August 17, 2009: The Dining Hall closes with dinner.July 28, 2009: The RMBL 2009 Summer Survey has been launched. We would
appreciate your feedback about your time spent in Gothic this summer. Your
input is valuable! We use your comments to improve conditions and manage things more effectively the following year. The Summer Survey ended Aug. 28th.

July 3, 2009: The 2009 Resident List has been updated (lists all PIs, RAs, Students, REUs, Staff, etc.)

May 18, 2009: The RMBL Office has moved to Gothic.
Please note that RMBL is hosting an ESA SEEDS program in Gothic from June 7 to 13, and the Graham Pyke Symposium will be under way June 9 to 14. So there will be lots of activity in Gothic in early June!
The Dining Hall will open with dinner on Sunday, June 7, 2009.
