Gothic Weather Forecast May 14: Generally clear wetaher for the week with some afternoon clouds while staying warm.

Other Notes:  The least snow ever in a March had been 52 cm (20½").  That record was smashed this winter with just 38 cm (15").   ---There was almost twice as much snow in the Jan. 20-22 period than in the whole month of December.  --Including this year there have been 10 Septembers in the past 38 years (officially, that is- but that is actually the case for the last 40 years) with no snowfall, this year being the second September in a row with no snow in Gothic.

Ski and Road Conditions, May 13:  Ski conditions:  Snow is gone and though there is still a little limited snow higher up on northern facing slopes, skiing is pretty much over.

Gothic road:  The road to Gothic is open.  It is in very good shape having just been graded, though can get sloppy when wet.  It is only open up to the gate between the picnic/camping area north of Gothic.

Current Avalanche Conditions: The CB avalanche center and the CAIC are closed for the summer. Click below for detailed information.
