Freshwater Forum 50 & Benthette Reunion
August 21 - August 24
Freshwater Forum 50 & the Benthette Reunion at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado.
The Benthette Reunion celebrates 50 years of river studies and marks the launch of Rocky Mountain Rivers, a new nonprofit supporting the next 50 years of river science. The weekend reconnects alumni through a mix of all-community gatherings and optional activities: happy hour and campfire, participatory talks on 50 years of stream ecology, billy barr’s slideshow Gothic in Winter, storytelling sessions, hikes to long-term research sites, a t-shirt design contest, and a revival of the No Talent Show.
All event programming and meals take place at the Gothic Campus.
